General Booking Terms
Booking through this website implies the express acceptance, by the traveler or user of the page, of these conditions.
The traveler must communicate at all times the number of companions who will be staying in the accommodation. The maximum number of occupants of the property must not exceed the number indicated in the booking confirmation. Increasing the number of occupants without prior authorization may result in the cancellation of the contract and does not entitle to any claim or refund of the rental amount.
Any incident affecting the habitability of the property must be reported immediately upon detection. Claims for incidents that have not been reported during your stay will not be accepted.
The properties will be delivered clean and with bedding and towels suitable for use. Additionally, the check-in time will be every day from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and the check-out time before 10:00 a.m. The traveler, upon prior consultation and authorization by the intermediary, may access or leave the property at a different time. Regardless of the reason, if the traveler's check-in is carried out after 9:00 p.m., an extra cost of THIRTY (€30) may apply, and FIFTY EUROS (€50) after midnight. This amount must be paid by the customer before accessing the property.
During check-in, you must communicate your estimated arrival time (flight number / boat if applicable). Once you are on your way and approximately half an hour away from the accommodation, please contact us via messaging and proceed directly to the accommodation or pre-arranged meeting point. If you plan to arrive outside of the specified hours, you must arrange with us the time of your arrival to organize the check-in.
The full amount of the reservation must be paid in advance before accessing the property. VAT is included in the accommodation price.
PAYMENT POLICY
My Happy Place offers the possibility of paying reservations (in full or partially, according to rate conditions) through a secure online payment system (provided your bank offers and supports it). Payment is securely processed directly from your credit/debit card or via bank transfer.
You will be provided with a written form to complete properly, as well as to make the payment according to the chosen form of entry, which varies depending on the selected rate. In any case, the full payment of the reservation amount must be made before entry into the accommodation. Failure to comply may lead to cancellation of the reservation, and consequently, loss of the deposit. To avoid any issues and ensure the reservation, you must send a copy of the payment receipt to our email.
Once the traveler registration is completed and the reservation payments are made, you will be provided with access details to the accommodation.
For rentals that are to be made less than 7 days before arrival, the total amount of the reservation will be paid in a single payment. Once the form and the total amount are received, the reservation will be confirmed.
In the case of using a bank transfer as a payment method, please note that the payment must be made in EUROS and all eventual exchange and bank fees are your responsibility. For transfers made outside of Spain, it is very important that when ordering the transfer, you always communicate to your bank to cover the origin commissions, those banking commissions, and expenses corresponding to your entity. If not, My Happy Place may suspend the contracted service for not receiving the full amount. Any exchange and banking fees are the customer's responsibility.
SECURITY DEPOSIT
Days before arrival, the tenant will receive an email with a link to make the deposit or payment of the SECURITY DEPOSIT established for each accommodation. The purpose of the deposit is to cover any damages that may occur in the accommodation. At the end of your stay, after reviewing the condition of the property and verifying that it is returned in the same condition as it was at the beginning, the deposit will be refunded to the tenant within 7 days.
CANCELLATION POLICY
The hours and dates taken into account in the cancellation policy refer to the time zone of the location where the accommodation is located. With that in mind, the deadline for canceling and receiving a refund will be based on the arrival time set by the host. If you have not set one, the deadline will be 3:00 p.m.
In case of non-payment of any of the prepayments established on each date, the reservation will be automatically canceled, and the accommodation will be available for another traveler.
If the traveler cancels the reservation, whether for an in-person or self-check-in arrival, the cancellation cost will be 30% of the total reservation amount if the cancellation is communicated more than 35 days in advance of the arrival date; if the cancellation is communicated within the 35 days prior to the arrival date, the traveler must pay the total reservation amount.
Any total or partial change to the reservation may incur variable modification fees.
If the traveler, once they have accessed the property, decides to leave before the end date of the contract, no refund will be made of the amount paid.
In the case of non-appearance on the entry date (no-show), the traveler must pay 100% of the reservation.
The traveler will not be entitled to a refund of the amounts paid if they voluntarily desist from the services before their stay is completed. In the event that, due to unforeseen circumstances not attributable to My Happy Place, the accommodation cannot be occupied, the traveler will be offered to move the dates to similar periods to be agreed upon between the parties. If the traveler does not accept the date change, they would be entitled to a full refund of any amount previously paid as a reservation confirmation.
BOOKING AND BEHAVIOR RULES AT THE ACCOMMODATION
The reservation formalizes the rental contract for the accommodation advertised directly between the traveler and the owner. The accommodation is in perfect condition to be inhabited and according to the description and photographs that appear in the advertisement.
Photographs: The accommodations may undergo minor aesthetic or decorative changes (never functional) that have not been updated in the advertisement photographs.
Cleaning: Final cleaning is included in the total amount of the reservation, but our clients should be aware that the house must be returned in the same condition as it was found upon arrival. If the accommodation is not delivered in these conditions, the traveler must pay a penalty of €100.00 for extra cleaning.
Garbage: Garbage must be deposited daily in the containers designated for this purpose in the area where the accommodation is located. If you do not comply with this rule and leave garbage uncollected in the containers upon departure, a penalty of €50.00 will be applied for garbage removal.
Parties: The celebration of parties or events is strictly prohibited. Failure to comply with this rule will result in expulsion from the accommodation without entitlement to compensation, as well as a charge of €500.00 penalty.
Occupants: No more persons than those indicated in the reservation may access the accommodation unless express authorization has been obtained from the owner or agency. In the event of detecting greater occupancy than indicated by the traveler when formalizing the reservation (without having obtained prior and express authorization from the owner), it will be grounds for immediate expulsion from the accommodation for breach of contract without any entitlement to compensation. A penalty of €50.00 per person and per night stayed is established as compensation.
Behavior rules: The traveler agrees to respect and comply with the community rules of the building where the accommodation is located, as well as the logical rules of respect and good neighborliness, refraining from carrying out activities or noises that may be annoying to neighbors
